Ken Levine, cool brains behind Bioshock, has the answer to being in the games industry and having time to play games:
Next-Gen: You spend a lot of time playing games? How do you find the time?
Levine: I have a wonderful understanding wife and I stay up late and I don’t have a social life or friends.
You know it’s funny, on every single job posting about games, they give the cliche’d requirement of ‘Must have a passion for playing and making games.’ Honestly it is a job requirement.
