Take the case of chance opportunities. Lucky people consistently encounter such opportunities, whereas unlucky people do not. I carried out a simple experiment to discover whether this was due to differences in their ability to spot such opportunities.
Awesome study on ‘luck.’ I think it makes perfect sense. Certain people notice opportunities and therefore are better-equipped, (let alone *able*) to handle them. ’Unlucky’ people focus on ‘the wrong things,’ and miss the opportunities. So an example would be, a lucky person who is late to an interview would still be enjoying their walk and notice the 20$ bill on the ground, whereas the ‘unlucky’ person would be worrying and not paying attention.
