“It’s like twitter. Except we charge people to use it.”

For some probably-obvious reason, I have found a lot of sites/blogs/silliness from freelance-types who post about their misadventures with clients. This is one of my favorite, by far. Some of these things that I read are unbelievable; sometimes literally, sometimes figuratively. By this I mean some seem made up, and others seem incredibly and unfortunately too real. I’ve tasted such ridiculousness in one form or another, but I can’t say I have the balls to respond to this kind of bullshit like this guy did. Yet.

It’s like… just because I can do something quickly does not mean it’s easy, nor cheap, especially not free. I completely think it has everything to do with the magic of computers, haha. You wouldn’t ask a carpenter to ‘throw a few ideas at me and I’ll pay you for the one I like.’ He’d literally throw wood at you. How the hell is what we do any different?
